Kermit J. Hall

Kermit J. Hall was a visionary leader whose influence shaped both the meetings industry and one of the nation’s most historic fraternal organizations. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Hall’s life was defined by service, structure, and strategic leadership.

As the first Board Chair of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, Mr. Hall helped lay the foundation for an organization dedicated to advancing excellence, equity, and representation within the meetings and conventions industry. His pioneering leadership established standards of professionalism and created pathways for Black professionals to lead and thrive in spaces where their presence had long been limited.

Within Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mr. Hall’s legacy is equally profound. Serving for more than 20 years as Director of Conventions for the General Organization, he brought exceptional organizational expertise and financial stewardship to some of the fraternity’s most historic gatherings.
